DISCUSSION BOARD RULES
Here are clear guidelines for everyone to follow in order to make the discussion board fun, safe, friendly, interesting and informative for ALL users. 1. Post messages in appropriate forums. Example: post jokes to "Jokes" forum, post discussions and debates to "Discussions" forum. 2. Read and understand the messages already posted in the topic you are replying. 3. Everybody is entitled to an opinion. Please respect what others have to say. 4. Healthy debates about ideas and events are encouraged. Share ideas, discuss and debate issues to your heart's content but remember that opinions can be stated without having to resort to profanities and indignities against each other. 5. Posts that are abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful will be deleted. 6. Posts that are inappropriate, rude or downright useless will be deleted. We expect members to use the discussion board with proper decorum. Members who deliberately create trouble will be banned from using the website. Thank you for your cooperation. DISCUSSION TIPS: 1. Do not write in capital letters. It is equivalent to yelling in internet lingo. 2. Since internet communications lacks facial input, use smilies to express emotion: A friendly teasing could be taken as an insult due to absence of facial expression and gestures in text communications. 3. Members can edit their posts. If you see that your post is too bright, too big, too thick, or impossible to read, you can change it, just click edit. To do this, you need to sign in, go to the message, click EDIT in the top right side of the message and the box will pop up. Or every time you post, always click “Preview” to see how it looks, scroll down to see the box and adjust as many times as you like, when you are done, hit ADD REPLY or ADD POST. 4. Take the time to study the tutorials. 5. Join in the discussions, be heard. |
